My domain name ‘Harddfan’ is Welsh for ‘beautiful place’. I’m not a Welsh speaker (just phrases and some vocabulary) but when we moved here it seemed like a good name for where we live, on the south eastern edge of the Brecons. and some Welsh speakers I know gave me the translation. Recently, however, I used Google Translate to check it out and it responded with ‘terrace’. Oh well, I guess that vaguely in the ball park but I’m sticking with Beautiful Place!
