My domain name ‘Harddfan’ is Welsh for ‘beautiful place’. I’m not a native Welsh speaker (just DuoLingo level!) but when we moved here it seemed like a good name for where we live, on the south eastern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog. Some Welsh speakers I know gave me the translation. Later, when I used Google Translate to check it, it responded with ‘terrace’. Oh well, I guess that’s vaguely in the ball park but I’m sticking with Beautiful Place!
Update 2025: I once worked in Teacher Education as a ‘Technology for the Classroom’ lecturer. Boy, haven’t things changed!
